Made to order - Set of four small stoneware soup bowls choose your colour
Small stoneware soup bowls a handmade set of four. Each soup bowl is approximately 5.1 inches (13 cm) in diameter and 2.7 inches (7 cm) in height
Winter is a time for comfort, frosty evenings and bowls of piping hot soup round the fire. From roasted tomato to sweet parsnip these soup bowls will also take you through the seasons. This set of small soup bowls are the perfect size for lunches and light bites but you can find deeper versions also listed in the shop.
The shape of each bowl was inspired by traditional Japanese pottery and has a deep elegantly curving shape leading up to high straight sides. Soft textural throwing rings remain on the inside of each piece so you can feel where my hands have drawn the clay upwards during throwing.
A shallow foot ring finishes off the look of these bowls and each one will sit flush on your table when it comes to dinner time.
These bowls can be cleaned in the dishwasher. When purchasing this order please specify your preferred glaze colour.
