Made up North

It’s been a couple of weeks since Made Up North at the Boiler Shop in Newcastle. I know it’s a bit belated but I just wanted to say thanks to everyone who took the time to chat to me on the day and to everyone who made a purchase.

I spend a lot of time working from home and it’s great to get out there and have people see my work and to have a chat. Often times chatting to customers can create new products or inspires you to make changes to your own work in unexpected ways. I’ll be at the Hepworth Wakefield winter maker fair in November. It’ll be the first time I’ll of been back since 2019 in the pre-covid days so I’ll be curious to see how things have changed.

It’s really tempting to after an event to really want to change the display quite a lot. There’s a real art to making your display look good on a table and I always feel like it could be better. It’s tough when your in a room full of really great sellers all with good looking and tempting displays! Hopefully I’ll get to meet you at an event soon!
